Ellie - Scholar

BA (Hons) Film and Television (Production) at University of Hertfordshire

How are you involved in Warner Bros. Creative Talent?
I am a Creative Talent Scholar.
What does it mean to you to be part of Warner Bros. Creative Talent?
To be a part of the Creative Talent scholarship means the absolute world to me. Warner Bros. has always been a production company I have strived to work for since I first fell in love with films because of all the amazing work they create. The fact that I now get to work with people I hugely admire is incredible to me and I feel extremely lucky.
What do you hope to achieve in your career?
In my career the end goal would be to Produce and Direct feature films and to be able to travel the world as part of my job would be a dream come true. I would love to be able to work my way through the ranks, trying lots of different roles and learning as much as I can from the people around me. I want to do this so when I am in the position I want to be I can inspire and help someone who was in my position.

The fact that I now get to work with people I hugely admire is incredible to me and I feel extremely lucky.

What is your favourite Warner Bros. film, TV, game or theatre production?
Harry Potter has always been a Warner Bros. production that will always hold a place in my heart as I grew up with these films, they were also the first films that really cemented my desire to make films. For TV I love The Flash and Arrow which is something I will watch regularly as I am a big fan of the DC Universe, which also makes me extremely excited for Suicide Squad and Batman v Superman.
Tell us something about yourself most people would be surprised by?
I once directed a music video at Childwickbury Estate which was the home of Stanley Kubrick; I met his wife Christiane and played the piano from Eyes Wide Shut.
